I have always had a passion for helping people, so I was so excited for the opportunity to volunteer with a local 501 (c) (3) non-profit. I entered data into Excel and Salesforce to enhance customer relationship management. A meaningful project I worked on was helping to coordinate and organize the Back to School Bash event, which provides school supplies and other essentials to underrepresented groups.

I was a participant in MELT University's four weekly podcasts and a Lunch and Learn session. I was able to expand my professional development and networking skills while learning from industry leaders in sports and entertainment marketing field. The speakers gave us great career tips to set ourselves apart from other applicants and gain insight into the professional world. I learned the importance of being able to pursue your passion professionally.
